Augment Code は、codebase をどれだけ深く理解し senior engineer の lookup time を減らせるかで評価すべきです。flashy prompt-to-code demo より、codebase context、review、team-scale workflow が価値です。
私の評価：Augment は Zencoder、GitHub Copilot、Cursor、Codex、Claude Code と並べて見るべきです。syntax を書くことより、大きな internal system で正しい pattern を見つけることが難しい組織に向きます。
何をテストするか
codebase memory が重要な task で評価します。
- legacy subsystem の動きを説明する。
- feature の正しい implementation path を見つける。
- related files をまたいで pattern を更新する。
- existing conventions に合う tests を追加する。
- project-specific risk で change を review する。
強い signal は、経験ある maintainer が見る files、constraints、risks と近いものを示せるかです。
