私の評価
Factory AI は、coding-agent market の別系統を示すため収録する価値があります。inline completion を速くする tool ではなく、software work を Droids に割り当て、team workflow の中で進める managed engineering-work platform に近いです。
私の評価：Factory は Devin、Codex cloud tasks、OpenHands Cloud、Claude Code background sessions と比較すべきです。demo で code が書けるかではなく、real team task を brief から implementation、tests、review、handoff まで進め、review burden を増やさないかが重要です。
何を見るべきか
Factory は autonomy と reliability が見える task で評価します。failing tests、小さな migration、dependency updates、integration changes、issue triage、review cleanup です。良い結果は narrow diff、clear explanation、command log、既存 Git / CI process に合う review path です。
評価軸：
- Planning：Droid が dependencies と risks を編集前に把握するか。
- Codebase awareness：local conventions を理解するか。
- Verification：正しい checks を実行し、failure を説明するか。
- Reviewability：human が accept / reject しやすい変更を残すか。
- Governance：repository access、tool permissions、audit trails を管理できるか。
向いているケース

- cloud agents と terminal agents を比較している組織。
- implementation、tests、deployment、review を 1 つの operating model にしたい workflow。
向いていないケース
- 低遅延 autocomplete が主目的の developers。
